Summertime Grandma

"Oh, what do you do in the summertime when all the leaves are green?
Do you swim in the pool to keep yourself cool or count all the stars in the sky?
Is that what you do? So do I!"
(HEY! Waittaminnit! that's not what I do!!)
I read books and stay up verrrrrrry late and eat ice cream cones in the middle of the night!!
So far this summer I have read eleven books, not gone to bed before midnight every night and eaten (never mind! That's a secret!)
It has been ages since I wrote to you.
The end of school was very scary so I haven't even finished cleaning up my office.
Today I had lunch at Wingstop with my best friend, Ivy Sweeney and we talked about stuff and now I'm ready to get back to work on school plans.
Grandpa bought me a set of books for my birthday that were written by Madeline le'Engle. They are a boxed set of paperbacks and I CAN'T FIND THEM ANYWHERE!!! Aunt Jessica says I didn't leave them at her house in March, So I guess I will have to clean house (ugh...) hunting for my missing books. Phooey...
So, wonderful Grandpersons, what are you doing??
Are you :
A. having picnics
B. sleeping in
C. swimming
D.reading books
E. all of the above

Andrew's answers are: C & D. But he needs to do B because he stays up too late doing D (just like his Grandma). He also needs a letter F: Playing video games as much as mom will allow. :o)

Danae's answers are: B, C & D. She is always the first one in and the last one finished with C. She's doing D as little as mother will allow. And needs G: Hip Hop class yay!

Adria's Answers are A (at preschool), B, and a little C. She is a bit timid with C still. We're working on it. Adria needs H: jumping on the trampoline and I: playing on the kid's computer.

Thanks for update. We LOVE to read Grandma's musings. :o)

Mary Sunshine! I miss your late night musings. Not that I'm one to talk (I'm 4 months behind on my blog). But I just thought I'd let you know that I miss the Marymommgrandmom thoughts. :)
