Have you ever been chomping a big wad of bubblegum and suddenly noticed that the flavor has changed to soap? Aunt Caty had done the parent thing and cleaned out the trick or treat buckets, leaving ALL the bubble gum on Grandma's kitchen counter. Now, this wan't any kitchen counter, but this one was completely cleared of all debrie. there they sat in there tender, chewable pile, wrapped in enviting paper. Just sitting there on the clean counter, all alone..
And Grandma had just finished eleven hours dressed as the Cap'n Mad Mary Flint. She was wearing the dreadlocks and beads of Johnny Depp, the hat of Walmart, a bright red and blue parrot velcroed to her pirate shirt.
"So I's be tired, ev'n me accent be waverin', me togs tossed to the table, and I be headin' below the poopdeck to get some shut-eye, and I spies the hapness pile o gum starin' from me clean counter. So I says, says I, 'I'll take a wee bite to chew while I turn to me readin'. Now it be an hour later and the soap taste has reached me tired brain. An' I thought o askin' ye about yer gum experience. so write me, ye skalliwags and confess about the gum. ARRRRRR!, but it tastes terrible even after I spits it in the can."
Today in pirate class we made wonderful wounds. Have I sent you the recipe yet?
Goodnight!
Sleep tight (or loose, it doesn't matter)
Sweet dreams
Hugs, Granda M.M.F. Case
