Today we celebrated Grandpa Case's birthday with a trip to the church park to hear The Due West Trio ( Grandpa's favorite local band) and to play in the sand. Some of us are very good playing in the sand...
Then, we came back to Grandpa and Grandma's house where we feastedn on Cowboy Stew ( Aunt Nina's rexcipe), coleslaw, and rolls. Then, Grandpa blew out his birthday candles and we all ate spice cake (made by Aunt Nina).
After dinner, we hurried into the livingroonm to watch Grandpa open his presents. Then, all us grandpersons got presents, too.
Then came the sad part.
Aunt Caty and Uncle Mike took Benjamin, MaCayla, and little William home..
Then Uncle Jeff and Aunt Sarah loaded up their van with Andrew, Danae, and Adria!
They drove away!!
Then Aunt Jessica got into Aunt Nina's truck and they left.
Poor Grandpa and Grandma...
